WESSEL NIJMAN

Wessel Nijman has a bright future ahead of him as he joins the professionals on the PDC ProTour in 2024. The young Dutchman enjoyed a trophy-laden youth career, winning gold medals at the WDF World and Europe Cups, alongside a number of other titles.

He caught the eye after winning two PDC Development Tour titles in 2018 and 2020, while also qualifying for two European Tour events. Following a two-and-a-half year absence from the game, Nijman was back in the winners’ enclosure in 2023, picking up three titles to finish third on the Development Tour Order of Merit.

The hat-trick of titles was enough to also earn a two-year PDC tour card and a spot in the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship.
